When a donor makes a donation through the Mission plugin, we process:
- Donation amount and currency
- Stripe payment identifiers
- Timestamp of the transaction
We do not store donor names, email addresses, or payment card details. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe.
Website Usage Data
When you visit missionwp.com, we may collect standard web server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Facilitate Stripe Connect onboarding and donation processing
- Authenticate API requests from your WordPress site
- Process and route donations to the correct Stripe connected account
- Monitor and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Stripe Connect and Payment Processing
Mission uses Stripe to process donations. When you connect your Stripe account or a donor makes a payment, data is shared with Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy.

As a Stripe Connect platform, Mission acts as an intermediary to route donations from donors to nonprofits. Stripe is the payment processor and data controller for all payment-related information.

- Stripe — to process payments and manage connected accounts
- Service providers — infrastructure providers (such as Cloudflare) that help us operate our services, subject to confidentiality obligations
- Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, or legal process

We retain your Stripe connection data for as long as your account is connected to Mission. When you disconnect your Stripe account, we remove your connection data from our systems. Transaction references may be retained as required for legal, tax, or compliance purposes.
